Rolex and The Amundi Evian Championship
Rolex is the Official Partner and Watch of the only golf Major held on the European continent. The Amundi Evian Championship is held every year in July at the Evian Resort Golf Club in Évian-les-Bains, France. A challenging course nestled between the unspoilt shores of Lake Geneva and the snow-capped peaks of the Alps. Created in 1994, this women's tournament was elevated to the rank of Major in 2013.

A Major Event
Since its first edition 30 years ago, The Amundi Evian Championship has continued to grow to become an unmissable event on the calendar. It is the only Grand Slam golf tournament to be played in continental Europe. Over time, the Alpine event has established itself as the meeting point for the best players in the world. They cross swords there in memorable duels that are part of glorious pages in the history of the discipline. The Rolex Testimonial golfers have particularly shone there, as evidenced by the victories of Annika Sörenstam (2000, 2002), Suzann Pettersen (2013), Lydia Ko (2015), Anna Nordqvist (2017) and Brooke Henderson (2022).
A journey to the top
The Amundi Evian Championship is played every year on the same course: The Champions Course. The layout, completely redesigned in the late 1980s by architect Cabell B. Robinson, presents difficulties that put the talent of the golfers to the test. Located between the lake and the mountains, it offers a breathtaking panorama, where the beauty of the place meets the demands of the course and the necessary accuracy of each shot. "Playing Evian" has even become a consecrated expression, so great is the challenge.
