In 2005, OMEGA launched its Planet Ocean line, keeping its maritime heritage in mind. Today, the elegant OMEGA Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M Master Chronometer pays homage to the heritage of the OMEGA dive watch. This model features a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and a white ceramic dial with Arabic numerals and a date window at 3 o'clock. The unidirectional white ceramic bezel, with a Liquidmetal™ OMEGA diving scale, is mounted on a 39.5mm stainless steel case. The watch is also distinguished by its screwed back with honeycomb design and its white leather strap lined with rubber.The OMEGA Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M Master Chronometer is water resistant to 600 meters (60 bars / 2000 feet) and equipped with a helium valve. The OMEGA Master Chronometer 8800 caliber located at the heart of this watch is visible through the transparent case back. To obtain Master Chronometer certification, he had to pass eight rigorous tests established by METAS, the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology.
