An emblematic OMEGA watch, the Speedmaster took part in all six lunar missions. True to this spirit of adventure, the “Blue Side of the Moon” is inspired by the color of the night sky. The 44.25mm case and blue ceramic bezel are complemented by an OMEGA Ceragold™ tachymeter scale. This watch sits on a blue leather strap with a ceramized titanium and blue ceramic folding clasp. The remarkable blue aventurine glass dial is animated by 18K Sedna™ gold hands and indexes as well as a red-tipped date hand . It also features a moon phase indication at 6 o'clock, the different faces of which are represented in Sedna™ gold on an aventurine glass disc in blue enamel (patent pending). The watch is driven by the caliber OMEGA Master Chronometer9904, which meets the highest performance criteria in the watch industry, determined by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS).
