The Double Mystery Four Seasons Baguette Diamond Boutique Novelty Edition by Franck Muller features a self-winding mechanical movement, caliber mvd fm 2800. It is rhodium plated with Côtes de Genève ornamentation and includes 217 components and 21 jewels, a self-winding movement automatic with bidirectional rotor system and shock absorption system. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 v/h (4 Hz). It features Côtes de Genève and “paper sun” brushing on the bridges and rotor, as well as circular graining on both sides of the plate and a chamfer on the bridges. 24-carat gold bath and rhodium plating of components and 24-carat gold finish of written engravings. Circular brushing of the rotor ball bearing, “paper sun” brushing of the barrel, 45° polishing and “sun” brushing of the ratchet wheel and polished and blued screws.
It is hand-set with 60 baguette-cut sapphires, rubies and tsavorites (5.92 carats) and 172 brilliant-cut diamonds (2.55 carats). The dial is hand-set with 218 brilliant-cut diamonds (1.37 carats) and 14 indexes in colored sapphires, rubies and tsavorites (0.98 carats). The buckle is hand-set with 8 brilliant-cut diamonds.
The double mystery watch refers to the absence of hands on the dial of this watch. The ingenious movement allows the two discs to rotate separately. With emerald indexes and hands, a fully diamond-paved dial and a fully diamond-paved case, the watch is incredibly eye-catching and a joy to behold.
