In 2005, OMEGA launched its Planet Ocean line, with its maritime heritage in mind. Today, the elegant OMEGA Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M Master Chronometer pays tribute to OMEGA\u2019s dive watch heritage.
\nThis model features a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and a polished black ceramic dial with Arabic numerals and a date window at 3 o'clock. The bezel, which combines black ceramic and orange rubber for the first time, is mounted on a 43.5 mm stainless steel case and features a Liquidmetal\u2122 diving scale.
\nThe watch also stands out with its screwed-down caseback with a honeycomb design and its stainless steel bracelet closed by a patented extendable folding clasp.
\nThe OMEGA Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M Master Chronometer is water resistant to 600 metres (60 bar \/ 2,000 feet) and has a helium-escape valve. The OMEGA Master Chronometer calibre 8900 at the heart of this timepiece is visible through the transparent caseback.
